Fernando “Menifee Maniac” Gonzalez began his boxing training when he was just five years old. He has been training in MMA for the past seven years and is currently a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Fernando has trained under many well known mixed martial artists such as Frank Shamrock, Dan Henderson, Chris Breaman, Jesse Taylor, Vinicius Magalhaes, Thierry Sokoudjou, Krysztof Soszynski, and Ricardo Feliciano.

Fernando has achieved many various ranks and title over the years. He has made five appearances in World Extreme Cagefighting, currently holds the Gladiator Challenge Champion title at 205 lbs, and is the number one contender for King of the Cage at 185 lbs. He has fought in Hawaii as well as the Philippines and his current professional record is 16-8-0.
